"I was a young high school kid who was just hanging out. The effect on me was incredible, and of course the music was indescribable."

From the beginning, Lena Spencer made her café a 'home away from home' for Saratoga's young people, especially for those whose creativity and individuality set them apart from their peers. Because alcohol has never been a part of Caffè Lena's offerings, all shows and activities have been open to all ages.
This comfortably blended setting has provided countless teenagers with a safe and grounding place to hang out, work, enjoy art, and spend time with respectful adult friends.
